Hi, I’m Dr. Brittni Bickel!

I’ve always been fascinated by what it means to be human.

Long before I became an acupuncturist, I studied anthropology and psychology because I wanted to better understand what shapes us: our experiences, relationships, environments, beliefs, and the stories we carry through life. That curiosity eventually led me to East Asian medicine, where I found a system of medicine that viewed people the same way I did, not as a collection of symptoms, but as whole human beings.

Anthropology taught me to look at health in context and to ask bigger questions about how our relationships, environments, cultures, life experiences, and daily habits shape the way we feel.

I earned my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science and hold a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in Psychology from the University of North Florida.

Over the years, both through my clinical training and my own health journey, I became increasingly interested in the role of the nervous system in healing. Today, much of my work is rooted in nervous system care.

Before opening House of Tides Healing Arts, I worked in a community care clinic serving veterans navigating chronic pain, complex health conditions, and stress-related concerns. My clinical experience has also included supporting individuals navigating burnout, anxiety, trauma, addiction, fertility challenges, women’s health concerns, autoimmune conditions, and other complex health concerns influenced by chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation.

I grew up here in Palm Beach County, and after spending more than a decade away pursuing my education, clinical training, and professional career, opening House of Tides Healing Arts feels like coming full circle. It is a privilege to return home, be closer to family, and share this work with the community that helped shape who I am.

I believe healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and connected to their own capacity for change. It would be an honor to be part of your healing journey!
